Keep active this winter at Harbourfront Centre
Now that it’s cold out, it can be a challenge to motivate our kids to stay active and healthy outdoors. Harbourfront Centre’s central location and fun activities make it easy for your family to have a day out in the city.
This winter, kids of all ages can get some exercise and learn to be more confident on the ice by registering for one of the many Learn to Skate classes. If you’d rather just go skating right on the shore of Lake Ontario, admission to the outdoor Natrel Rink is free and helmet and skate rentals are available by the rink.
Once your kids have had their fill of skating, they can come in from the cold to get creative with Power Kids workshops at The Power Plant, or explore Miss Lou’s Room to create crafts that celebrate the fun of storytelling.
At Harbourfront Centre you can combine an afternoon of outdoor winter fun with culture and arts programming for the whole family. For more information and to register for classes visit harbourfrontcentre.com.
Learn to Skate is supported by the RBC Learn to Play Project and Miss Lou’s Room programming is supported by the Jamaica National Building Society.
