Your kids are growing up in one of the most diverse countries in the world, and this Canada Day, Harbourfront will celebrate with them. On July 1, the iconic festivities pay tribute to the diversity of the Canadian people, from our original inhabitants to our newest citizens.

On Saturday, July 11, there’s  a family-friendly block party called T-Dot Block. Come down to the lakeshore with the family to enjoy activities that encourage interaction and engagement with arts of all kinds.

Every week, Harbourfront’s infamous Family Sundays offer up a unique performance or workshop tailored for young audiences. On Saturday, July 18 the inspiration is from Latin America, where children are often encouraged to learn to dance and sing to their parents’ favourite salsa songs. Join in with dance instructor Miko Sobreira and learn something new.

If you’re looking for another excuse to ham it up on stage, visit Harbourfront on Sunday, July 26 for the FLAUNT Family Fashion Show, where kids can explore identity and individuality through the creation of fascinators and accessories.
