To My Husband
Do you know anyone who is just better at everything than you are? Not that life is a competition but sometimes you just need to compare yourself- I married my husband because he is better than me. He is knowledgeable, fearless, strong, talented and motivational- But most of all, he is the rock that you can crash against and doesn’t break. My daughter will grow-up having the BEST dad ever! I often feel bad for him, because Squeak, is my clone and there are times when the grump comes out and he is always there with a cheery smile and a big hug for the both of us. I really don’t know what I would do without him. He cooks, he cleans, he bakes, he does laundry, he builds stuff and magically fixes everything.
So I interviewed his biggest critic his daughter- Here is what she had to say:
Mommy: What is your favourite thing about Daddy?
Squeak: My favourite thing about Daddy is I love him.
Mommy: What is your favourite thing to do with Daddy?
Squeak: When he pushes me on the swing.
Mommy: What do you think he loves about you the most?
Squeak: He loves to push me on the swing so that I can go high!
The best thing you can ever do for your children is spend time with them, take an interest and go for walks or in Squeak’s cause, get pushed on the swing. Time well spent.
Happy Father’s Day!
Much love and mad respect,
Mumsymess
For our Father’s Day Project I took Squeak to Michaels- She choose a
Creatology Hand Print Kit-
This was a very easy project-
In an empty recycled yogurt container- We Mixed the clay and 3 oz water-
Poor the Plaster of Paris into a mold, wait- 7-10 minutes
Put her open hand into the plaster, leave for one minute
Let stand for half and hour and remove hardened plaster from mold
Let it harden over-night and it is ready for paint
This kit also provides a ribbon to form a loop for hanging and paint is provided.
