Diaper packaging recycling

Here’s a new way to ease your concerns about the environmental impact of using disposable diapers. Huggies brand has partnered with TerraCycle and its Diaper Packaging Brigade, a free program that keeps diaper packaging waste out of local landfills.

The pioneering company in the field of recycling provides parents, schools and day care centers with the opportunity to  recycle their diaper packaging instead of sending it to landfill. The program also raises funds for schools or charities that collect and return used diaper packaging. For each plastic diaper package returned through the Diaper Packaging Brigade, Huggies and TerraCycle will donate two cents, which can be put toward specific charity gifts or converted to cash and paid to a non-profit organization of the collector’s choice.
