Maple Season It’s the sweetest time of year at Conservation Halton Parks! Celebrate local traditions with family-friendly events at Mountsberg and Crawford Lake. Offered weekends and holidays from February 28 to April 5, and daily during March Break (March 16 to 20). Come out to Mountsberg’s Maple Town and Sweet Water at Crawford Lake and learn about maple syrup and sugar, plus enjoy sweet tastings, gentle hikes, kids’ activities, and more. New this year: Syrup & Starlight at Mountsberg on March 7 and 28, featuring a moonlit wagon ride and tour of the sugar bush, a maple syrup tasting flight, an Indigenous food tasting and live music.
