Virtually Junior, Big Thoughts for Growing Minds
We are thrilled to introduce Virtually JUNIOR, the online edition of Toronto’s international children’s festival, which stimulates big thoughts for growing minds.
Get ready to join us for exciting new ways to enjoy some of JUNIOR’s talented artists – virtually. We’ll be bringing you and your family films, dance, Indigenous food teachings and more! All free and to be enjoyed from your own home.
As a leading international centre for contemporary arts, culture and ideas, we have continued to engage with artists to bring you original new work as we respond to the COVID-19 public health emergency and move away from our live, on-site events for the summer.
We know nothing replaces the experience of live arts, but a true spirit of adventure and learning inspires us to forge ahead on new paths. We’re already planning to come back stronger than ever in 2021. Until we are all able to be together again in person, let’s adapt and keep exploring fun ways to create art and connect.
Virtually JUNIOR will launch during the Victoria Day long weekend, running from Saturday, May 16 to Monday, May 18. Don’t miss this unique chance to connect with your community with fun and engaging programming for the whole family. We may have to keep two metres apart, but that doesn’t mean we can’t still come together virtually and take part in a celebration of art and culture for all ages, all from the comfort and safety of our homes.
We’ve missed you and can’t wait to see you at Virtually JUNIOR on May 16!
