Located beside the University of Toronto Mississauga, The Erindale Academy is a private school for Grades 7 to 12 that connects learning with artificial intelligence, entrepreneurship, and innovation. Its inquiry-based approach prepares students for university and the future.

School 2.0: Education for the AI era

The Erindale Academy puts School 2.0 into action by moving beyond knowledge transmission. At the heart of this framework are three essential capacities: AI literacy, hands-on intelligence, and social intelligence. Students use AI responsibly, transform ideas into solutions, collaborate, communicate with empathy, and exercise human judgment.

University-linked learning

Through its collaboration with ICUBE UTM, the University of Toronto Mississauga’s entrepreneurship and innovation hub, The Erindale Academy offers the AI Business Innovation & Entrepreneurship program.

Students complete an Ontario high school credit course that introduces AI use, entrepreneurship, product development, teamwork, and pitching within a university-linked innovation environment. Upon successful completion, they earn an Ontario high school credit and receive an ICUBE UTM Certificate of Completion.

From coursework to incubation

The new Erindale Youth AI Innovation Incubator extends learning beyond the classroom. Students with ideas can continue developing their projects through mentorship, connections to university and community resources, and opportunities to engage with entrepreneurs and industry professionals.
The Incubator helps students strengthen portfolios, expand networks, explore startup pathways, and learn how to pursue funding opportunities. It provides the sustained support needed to move an idea beyond a course assignment or competition and toward implementation.

A tradition evolving for the future

The school’s tradition began with Froebel School in 1971. Today, The Erindale Academy combines academic excellence and whole-student development with small classes, mentorship, social-emotional support, and forward-thinking programs. Students are known and guided, challenged to think independently, take initiative, and turn learning into meaningful action.
