This joyful approach comes straight from Donna Dooher, Mildred’s founder and executive chef. A culinary icon with over three decades of experience, Donna has helped shape Canada’s food culture through her restaurants, cookbooks, and mentorship.
She launched the original Mildred Pierce Restaurant in 1989 and later opened Mildred’s Temple Kitchen – bringing her love of seasonal, locally sourced food to a vibrant new space. A celebrated cookbook author (Out to Brunch, Market to Table) and former magazine food editor, Donna continues to inspire with every dish served.
