Each summer 6-17 year old youth from around the world travel to Camp Wabikon's magnificent location in Temagami, Ontario to participate in our quality program, including over 30 land and water activities. Campers love the freedom of being able to choose their activities each day using our personal choice sign-up system. Each camper is encouraged to try all of the activities offered at camp, including a cabin group canoe trip. This experience, in the breathtaking scenery of Temagami, is a highlight of many campers' stay at Wabikon. All of our activities are taught by qualified, caring instructors with equal focus on learning and enjoyment. Campers have the opportunity to challenge themselves physically and gain valuable life skills such as independence, self-confidence, compassion and integrity. As an overnight camp, campers have the unique experience to bond with their cabin mates and counsellors, forming friendships and memories to last a lifetime. Our staff to camper ratio is 1:3. The majority of our Staff members have spent a significant number of summers as campers and Counsellors-In-Training at Wabikon. We are a family owned and operated business that takes great pride in the work we do. For over 35 years we have continued to provide an outstanding Canadian camping experience. One week introductory sessions available for first-time campers. Please visit our website www.wabikon.com for more information and contact us for a free DVD/brochure package and references. We look forward to sharing Wabikon with your family.
